School age children with cerebral palsy often experience motor and praxia disorders leading to dysgraphia. A careful search for these disorders is needed to provide early care and minimize the effect on learning. Use of a keyboard as early as the first grade can help these children with graphic difficulties, but the learning process must be individualized and adapted to the child's age and capacities. With proper use of the computer, there is good hope for optimal schooling.
