Dosage des IgE spécifiques sur l'Immulite® 2000 DPC, étude analytique et comparaison avec la technique Immunocap RIA Pharmacia pour 35 pneumallergènes 1

An automated method for quantitative specific IgE measurements was recently released by DPC on Immulite® 2000 system based on chemiluminescence. We evaluated the analytical performances (intraassay and interassay precision, binding capacity, specificity) of this method for 35 individual inhalant allergens and an inhalant screening panel (AlatopTM). The results obtained with 2409 sera were compared to those obtained with Pharmacia CAP System (RIA), the routine method used in our laboratory. Using CAP System as a comparative method, Immulite 2000 has a sensitivity of 89% and a specificity of 91%. Analytical characteristics of this method are good. Agreement with Pharmacia CAP System is 97% for the screening test and 90% for individual allergens. Immulite® 2000 features allow for its easy integration in the laboratory for routine use.
