Skin cancer

Cancers may arise from any structure in the skin. Correct recognition of the different types of skin cancer is important so that they are managed appropriately. This contribution discusses the aetiology, diagnosis and management of the most common forms of skin cancer - malignant melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.
