Down-regulation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma in human cervical carcinoma

These results suggest that PPARγ is down-regulated in multiple human cervical cancer tissues and cell lines. Ciglitizone may suppress human cervical cancer cells in PPAR-independent manner.
