Sinóstosis congénita del tarso

The following observations are made: a) diagnosis was earlier in girls; b) the presence of flat foot with contracture and radiographic signs such as the C sign or dorsal prominence of the talar head suggest synostosis but are not diagnostic and c) poor results of surgical treatment are more frequent in patients diagnosed before the age of 10 years.
