Brain drain and economic growth: theory and evidence: a comment

This paper extends results of Beine et al. (2001) by introducing fixed costs and analyzes the growth rate on transition path. Through the analysis of transition path, we demonstrate the existence of BBDI. In addition, we show that the existence of opportunity to migrate might exert an opposite influence on the long run growth rate and the transitional growth rate.
