Derepression of the activity of the complex nitrogenase was resulted in the presence of ammonium (under usual inhibitory condition) occasioned by the malfunctioning of CBB cycle and pycA gene. Transposon mutagenesis was used to discover mutants which can enhance the H2 production under NH4+-inhibition condition.210
