Synthesis of gold organometallics at the nanoscale

The synthesis of aryldiazonium gold(III) salts and their use in the fabrication of gold-aryl nanoparticles is described. Support of gold-aryl connectivity was shown by using XPS, ATR-FTIR, and DFT calculations.211
