Identification of three important amino acid residues of xylanase AfxynA from Aspergillus fumigatus for enzyme activity and formation of xylobiose as the major product

- Xylanase AfxynA from A. fumigatus can convert xylan to mainly xylobiose.
- AfxynA exhibits good thermostability comparing with other xylanases from A. fumigatus.
- Three amino acids of AfxynA were identified for enzyme activity and formation of hydrolytic product.
