Lipase-catalyzed synthesis of capsiate analog using vanillyl alcohol and conjugated linoleic acid under vacuum system

► The application of vacuum was successful to synthesize capsiate analogs by lipase-catalyzed esterification. ► The yield of 100 mol% was achieved by vacuum after only 3 h of reaction. ► High incorporation was occurred with 9c,11t-CLA due to the specificity of Lipozyme RM IM.
