Solubility of HFCs in lower alcohols

► The solubilities of some HFCs in lower alcohols have been determined. ► An accuracy of 0.6% was achieved. ► A semiempirical correlation has been developed between the solubilities of HFCs in alcohols. ► Two descriptors have been used, the Gutmann acceptor number and the reduced dipole moment of gases.
