Effect of pre-heating duration and temperature conditioning on the rheological properties of bitumen

► 143 °C temperature and 2-h heating duration are proper preparation. ► Viscosity, G*, and creep stiffness are slightly affected by heating duration. ► RTFO caused 25% of the total aging encountered in bitumen. ► PAV has more influence in increasing stiffness at temperature above 64 °C. ► RTFO has more influence in increasing stiffness at temperatures below 40 °C.
