Incidence and trends in psychopathology symptoms over time in adults with severe to profound intellectual disability

▶ Psychopathology is more common in adults with ID, but research has not examined that stability of symptoms over time. ▶ Over a period of one year, the only symptom category that was not found to be stable was PDD/Autism. ▶ These findings have implications for the treatment of psychopathology in this population.
