Synthesis and characterization of enzyme-magnetic nanoparticle complexes: effect of size on activity and recovery
چکیده انگلیسی
▶ Three different size enzyme-magnetic nanoparticle complexes were compared for activity and recoverability. ▶ Initial activity was highest for the 5 nm bioconjugates > 26 nm > 51 nm. ▶ 26 nm and 51 nm bioconjugates retained 80% of the initial activity after 10 cycles. ▶ Equivalent total product formation to the native enzyme was achieved after 5 recycling steps for the 26 nm particles.
