Physicochemical properties of nevirapine-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles and nanostructured lipid carriers

▶ Oleic acid in nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) reduces the thermal resistance and accelerates release rate of nevirapine (NVP). ▶ Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) entrap more NVP than NLCs. ▶ The surface human serum albumin (HSA) neutralizes the positive charge on lipid nanoparticles and increases the viability of human brain-microvascular endothelial cells.
