Design of process parameters for the production of xylose from wood sawdust

► Meranti wood sawdust can be a potential source of xylose. ► Parameter design was conducted to identify the optimum level of operating variables. ► Xylose obtained was 17.9 g/l which corresponds to a yield of >86%. ► Results are validated against experimental literature data.
