Batch and continuous biogas production from grass silage liquor

► AD of grass silage was investigated in a batch and continuous reactor. ► Grass silage can produce high quality methane in both reactors ∼77%. ► Methane yield of 0.385 m3 kg−1 COD i.e. one of the highest yields reported for AD.
