Delignification of sugarcane bagasse using glycerol-water mixtures to produce pulps for saccharification

► We model the glycerol/water solvent system for sugarcane bagasse pulping. ► Delignification was carried out without addiction of any external catalyst. ► High extents of delignification were attained preserving the polysaccharide fraction.
