Production of aromatic green gasoline additives via catalytic pyrolysis of acidulated peanut oil soap stock

► Catalytic pyrolysis with HZSM-5 cracks peanut oil soap stock to fuel. ► Treatment at 450-550 °C generates gasoline range aromatic hydrocarbons. ► Aromatics including BTEX form at yields from 22% to 35% (v/v). ► Fuel properties of product (viscosity, HHV, density, etc.) comparable to gasoline.
