New chemically reworkable epoxy coatings obtained by the addition of polyesters with star topologies to diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A resins

- The use of a multiarm star as epoxy resin modifier was studied.
- The structure of the multiarm star allows obtaining chemically reworkable coatings.
- The thermal stability of the thermosets was maintained.
- Young modulus decreased but the impact strength increased and the microhardness was not much affected.
