DNA-decorated nanoparticles as nanosensors for rapid detection of ascorbic acid

► The development of a novel nanosensor for ascorbic acid detection was reported. ► The sensor is based on 13 nm AuNPs decorated with fluorescein-labelled ssDNA. ► The detection limit of ascorbic acid nanosensor was 10 nm. ► Our assay allows rapid (2 min) and selective detection of AA in the real samples.
