Enhanced electrochemiluminescence of CdSe quantum dots composited with graphene oxide and chitosan for sensitive sensor

► A novel composite was prepared by combining CdSe QDs, graphene oxide and chitosan. ► The composite as-prepared exhibited high ECL intensity and long-term stability. ► The composite ECL sensor has high sensitivity and good selectivity to cytochrome C.
