Nano-magnetic primer based electrochemiluminescence-polymerase chain reaction (NMPE-PCR) assay

► We are the first to combine PCR and ECL directly on magnetic nanoparticles. ► The assay achieves rapid, specific, yet sensitive detection of genome. ► The method is simple, and most of the reagents and equipments are commercial. ► Because of avoiding some manual operation, the probable error could be reduced. ► The method has potential for development of automatic equipment for gene analysis.
