Binding force measurement of NF-κB-ODNs interaction: An AFM based decoy and drug testing tool

► We have measured interaction strength between the transcription factor NF-κB and its DNA target (ODN), by AFM. ► Using different kind of modified tips we characterized LNA modified ODNs interaction strength. ► Force measurement was proper to test drugs, able to inhibit NF-κB and potentially suitable to modulate its activity.
