A novel excretion pathway of nanoparticles, IGCSP, has been found. Observation in living zabrafish demonstrated that ACNP was transported by blood. Histopathological observation and transmission electron microscopy revealed that ACNP were secreted by goblet cells into intestinal tract. There is a dynamic equilibrium between ACNP in blood and that in tissues and cells. The ACNP in tissues and cells can be reversely absorbed and transported by blood to goblet cells.
