Assessment of the antigen-specific antibody response induced by mucosal administration of a GnRH conjugate entrapped in lipid nanoparticles
چکیده انگلیسی
Lipid nanoparticles can be modified to enable nasal or oral delivery of protein GnRH conjugates. Evaluation of immunization against two GnRH isoforms (GnRH-I which has a wide distribution in the body and GnRH-III which is found specifically in the brain), demonstrated similar antibody responses via both routes of delivery. Production of GnRH-specific antibodies, released into the circulation neutralize GnRH, which goes on to block gonadotrophin and gonadal hormone action.80
