Parallel microfluidic synthesis of size-tunable polymeric nanoparticles using 3D flow focusing towards in vivo study

We report the parallelization of nanoparticle synthesis using a multilayer microfluidic system. Polymeric PLGA-PEG nanoparticles with sizes tunable in the range of 13-150 nm were synthesized reproducibly with high production rate. Parallel synthesis enabled the in vivo pharmacokinetic and biodistribution study of nanoparticles synthesized using 3D hydrodynamic flow focusing.152
