A prospective examination of the stability of hostile-dominance and its relationship to paranoia over a one-year follow-up

► This study evaluated hostile-dominance and paranoia in psychiatric patients over one-year. ► Hostile-dominance was stable over time even though symptoms of paranoia generally reduced. ► The reduction in paranoia did not occur in the same way for all patients. ► Higher levels of hostile-dominance were associated with higher levels of paranoia.
