Development and validation of the Material Values Scale for children (MVS-c)

► We introduce the Material Values Scale for children (MVS-c). ► We tested the MVS-c among 1001 8- to 11-year olds. ► The MVS-c performs well in test-retest reliability and construct validity. ► The 18-, 6-, and 3-item versions of the MVS-c are equally useful.
