Distorted perception of the subjective temporal distance of autobiographical events in patients with schizophrenia

► We studied the perception of subjective time in patients with schizophrenia. ► Participants estimated the subjective temporal distance of past personal events. ► Patients with schizophrenia showed a distorted perception of subjective time. ► This is probably due to the important lack of detail in patients' memories.
