Motion as a cue to face recognition: Evidence from congenital prosopagnosia

► The role of facial motion for processing faces in prosopagnosia was investigated. ► When matching faces, a motion advantage was found. ► Motion induced characteristics typical of normal face processing in prosopagnosia. ► The results suggest that the processes for static and moving faces are dissociated.
