A test revealing the slow acquisition and the dorsal stream substrate of visuo-spatial perception

► This research aimed at validating a specific perceptual test of spatial vision for children. ► We scored healthy children aged 4 to 12, healthy adults and two adult patients with bilateral occipito-parietal damage. ► This test revealed a high sensitivity to age. ► Most perceptual abilities tested depend on the integrity of the dorsal visual stream.
