Facial macrosomatognosia and pain in a case of Wallenberg's syndrome: Selective effects of vestibular and transcutaneous stimulations

► A patient who, following a lateral medullary stroke complained of a rare macrosomatognosia confined to his face is reported. ► This macrosomatognosia was reduced by a left caloric vestibular stimulation. ► This misperception may be regarded as a high-order deficit of somatosensory perception of the shape and volume of the body.
