Biasing visual selection: Functional neuroimaging of the interplay between spatial cueing and feature memory guidance

► We assess the interplay between spatial-based and memory-based feature guidance of visual selection. ► At a behavioural level, memory-based guidance is influenced by spatial cueing of attention. ► Parietal activity associated with spatial attention modulates neural correlates of memory guidance in a fronto-temporal-occipital network.
