How altruism works: An evolutionary model of supply networks

► In this paper, we proposed a model to investigate the effects of altruism on supply networks. ► We have discovered that the suppliers' and whole network's profits do not change monotonously with suppliers' altruistic preference. ► Our work tried to help understand the effects of altruism on complex supply networks for both research and commercial applications.
