Critical behavior of the absorbing state transition in the contact process with relaxing immunization

► We introduce a new model which incorporate a relaxing immunization in the contact process. ► We perform a detailed finite-size scaling and renormalization group analysis. ► The absorbing-state phase transition is shown to belong to the directed percolation universality class. ► We provide the full phase diagram and discuss potential applications.
