Interpolating geochemical patterning of activity zones at Late Neolithic and Early Copper Age settlements in eastern Hungary

► Soil samples collected from small Late Neolithic and Early Copper Age settlements. ► Multi-element chemical data is obtained from samples through ICP-MS. ► Variables reduced via Principal Components Analysis and interpolated in GIS. ► Results show activity areas and consistent use of space within small farmsteads. ► Gives first indication of intrasite layout of small Neolithic farmsteads in Hungary.
