EC50 estimation of antioxidant activity in DPPH assay using several statistical programs

► DPPH assay allows the evaluation of antioxidant capacity through the determination of EC50. ► Different antioxidants were studied with DPPH assay ► The EC50 estimation was performed by GraphPad Prism, BLeSq, OriginPro, SigmaPlot, BioDataFit, and IBM SPSS programs. ► The statistical estimation gave similar EC50, but the five-parameter GraphPad Prism showed the best performance.
