Cytotoxic phenylpropanoid glycosides from Fagopyrum tataricum (L.) Gaertn

► Seven new phenylpropanoid glycosides were obtained from tartary buckwheat roots. ► This serial of compounds exhibited marked cytotoxic activity in vitro. ► Tartary buckwheat roots could be beneficial in the therapy of cancer diseases.
