Detection of sulphathiazole in honey samples using a lateral flow immunoassay

► We develop an LFIA for rapid screening of sulphathiazole in honey. ► We examine assay performances and matrix interference. The results at the VLD of the test were not influenced by matrix. ► Test results for STZ were in good agreement with LC-MS values.
