Pharmacokinetics and residues of tetracycline in crucian carp muscle using capillary electrophoresis on-line coupled with electrochemiluminescence detection

► CE-ECL has many advantages of inexpensive instrument, high sensitivity, good selectivity and wide linear range. ► Pharmacokinetics and residues of tetracycline in crucian carp muscle has not been reported by using CE-ECL. ► The wide linearity range of tetracycline concentration was obtained with detection limit (S/N = 3) of 1.8 ng mL−1. ► The detection limit and linearity concentration range are better than those of previous reports. ► The proposed method was simple, accurate, and economical.
