Protective effect of Cordyceps militaris against high glucose-induced oxidative stress in human umbilical vein endothelial cells

► The cytotoxicity of HUVECs was ameliorated by Cordyceps militaris (CME). ► CME inhibited the increase in ROS and NO in HUVECs induced by high glucose. ► CME reduced apoptosis of HUVECs induced by high glucose. ► CME helps preventing diabetic endothelial dysfunction.
