Physiochemical properties and kinetics of glucoamylase produced from deoxy-d-glucose resistant mutant of Aspergillus niger for soluble starch hydrolysis

► Glucoamylases produced from wild and mutant Aspergillus niger were purified on FPLC. ► The molecular masses were determined on MALDI-TOF. ► Mutant glucoamylase gained better catalytic properties for soluble starch hydrolysis. ► γ-Ray mutagenesis of microorganisms altered the catalytic properties of enzymes.
