Genistein and dicarboximide fungicides in infant formulae from the EU market

► Method development for the analysis of genistein and fungicide in infant formula. ► Method application to pooled infant formula designed to represent the EU market. ► Absence of fungicides in the tested samples above the detection limits. ► Genistein found in traces in milk-based formula and at 9.7 μg/g in soy-based formula. ► Genistin measured at 31.4 ng/g and 476 ng/g in milk and soy formula respectively.
