Characteristics of sedimentation along the valley of the Tutura river (Lena-Angara plateau) during the Late Holocene

We examine the characteristic properties of the structure of terraces along the valley of the Tutura river and establish the main features of sedimentation. By analyzing the sections of floodplains and terraces, including those which originated during the Late Holocene, it was possible to identify formation stages of floodplain-terrace levels along the river valley and calculate the mean sedimentation rate on floodplain terraces.
