Renewable energy resources of the Sakhalin region: assessment and priorities of utilization

We examine the situation with the tapping of renewable energy resources in the Sakhalin region. An overview of the various kinds of resources is provided, their distribution on the region's territory is shown, and the total and technical potentials are given. The priorities of utilization of renewable natural energy resources for power engineering purposes are defined.
