The intra-regional resource and ecological factors of development of the mining industry of the Baikal natural territory

The composition of the territorial groups of mineral deposits as revealed to date within the Russian part of the Baikal natural territory is considered. The importance of mineral resources for the development of productive forces of the region under consideration, and for Russia in general, and the degree of ecological danger from mining production systems are characterized.
