Resource potential of sable in the Sosvinskoye Ob region

We discuss the technique of generating the small-scale regionalization map for resource potential of the sable population, the habitat of which encompasses area along the left-bank of the Ob and Irtysh as far as the Ural. The method of equidensity isolines was used to delineate three areas, each of which is divided into a number of sub-areas according to the characteristics of habitat of this species. For half of them we established a tendency for a considerable decrease of the prospects for sable hunting due to industrial development of the territory.
