Assessing the fire hazard from weather conditions in mountain forests of the Southern Baikal region

We suggest the scheme for compiling scales of daily district-by-district fire-hazard assessment having regard to the weather conditions. Information on air temperature and saturation deficiency for 14 hours, and also the amount of precipitation for 24 hours are used in calculating meteorological indices of fire hazard.
