The Khadzhokhsky canyon and the Granitnoye gorge (Adygeia, Russia) as geological natural monuments

Canyons and gorges as geological natural monuments concentrate large amounts of geomorphological and geological information. It is suggested that the Khadzhokhsky canyon and the Granitnoye gorge in the Republic of Adygeia (North Caucasus) should be designated as geological monuments of a global and national rank, respectively.
